So I’ve been playing a Shaman…After

After my disasterous attempt at playing a Warrior I’ve switch servers to roll a Shaman. I’ve never played a Shaman before, so this has been totally new to me. I chose Enhancement because I’ve heard it’s the easiest spec to level and because I was interested in doing DPS. So far I like the class and the spec, which is full of all kinds of really neat stuff. The problem is, I can’t seem to get a group as a DPS Shaman. No one wants me. But the moment I offer myself up as a healer I get snapped up. I actually really enjoy healing so this is fine, even though I was hoping to do DPS with this character. I’ve been considering switching over to the Restoration spec and becoming a full time healer, but… Resto seems to suck. I mean, the spec just has nothing interesting in it, where Enghancement is full of stuff that I feel like I’ll be using even as a healer.

So here’s my question: Should I stick with Enhancement or respec for Restoration?

I’ve started a new Shaman character, and even wrote a short story about her (which you can read here). I don’t usually do illustrations of my own characters, but I thought she’d look pretty cute.

Because every now and then one of you asks, here’s the step by step coloring process I use. I work in Gimp using a 3 shade technique.

Another commission. I always like working on these, but I’ve been getting a flood of them since Seduced! came out, and that’s one of teh reasons I haven’t been able to finish up Tokyo Deviant Army #2. Anyway, I think this turned out really well.

Coffee Breaks 7 (finally)

This one took forever, but only because my computer crashed (again) and I had to mess around with my new scanner for two days before I could scan the line art. The good news is that I’m already deep into my next chapter for Expansion Comics, so you should see that a lot faster then this chapter. I’m trying to get back on schedule!

As if I had any free time to waste…

I’ve been playing WoW a bit again. I rolled a Warrior (named Snaketrap) on Blackwater Raiders. I’ve never played a Warrior before, and I haven’t played a Human since my very first character way, way back. So far it’s pretty fun. I’m only level 8, but my plan is to mostly tank for instances.
